Holly Berry Bouquet Paper and the Holiday Stocking Die!

I know you've seen this adorable stocking everywhere, but I just had to make it too!  We got the idea at SU Convention this year.  You die cut 2 stockings from the NEW HOLIDAY STOCKING Big Shot die then you die cut 1 box from the Box #2 Big Shot die and put them together!  But I must warn you, you can't put anything heavy into the box because it will tilt over.  I'm going to try changing the box placement to see if I can make it more stable.  Also, used on the stocking is the NEW Winter Wishes Stitched Felt holly berry accent from the upcoming HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG.  You get 4 felt holly berry accents in a packet along with 4 wreaths, 4 snowflakes, and 4 mitten sets!  This is a must have this year!

Because it's so shiny and cute, it will be another project we'll be making at one of my Holiday Gift Giving classes!  The Holly Berry Bouquet Designer paper is great this year; it has 4 sheets with "red glitter" on them (2 with dots-shown here-and 2 with stripes).  You'll love this paper and stocking die and you'll be able to order them in only 3 days!  You'll want to get started making those Holiday Gifts!

And don't forget that starting September 1st, for orders you place with me totalling over $50 (before shipping and tax), I'll send you the instructions to make the great Holiday House Treat Box featured here and for orders over $100, I'll send you the instructions AND the supplies to make the treat box!

Have a great week and contact me if you have any questions!

Project Recreation (Sharing) Request

Good morning everyone!  I just wanted to post a note here.  It came to my attention that a reader copied my Snowmuch Fun Treat Box  and submitted it for a contest with another demonstrtor (my original post and video tutorial here).  I LOVE that I can inspire people to want to make what I share, but I only ask that you do not submit my original artwork into contests.  Several of my projects are ideas I get from Stampin Up or other demonstrators, but most are my original ideas that I would like to have the priviledge of submitting as contest entries.  I'm not saying that my artwork is so great that it will win contests, I'm just saying that I want the choice and opportunity to enter my own work.

Stamping blogs are all over the place and have been around for a long time and I've read this comment/request on so many of them.  I know that once something goes out on the internet, it's "fair game", but I just figured that folks honored the "get inspired, but don't enter into contests" unspoken request.  So, I'm just stating it here, you're free to copy and share my creations, just please don't enter them into contests.  And if you do copy it and share it, please give credit to the creator.

I don't mean to insult anyone (or "preach to the choir) and I do appreciate everyone's understanding!  This blog is very time intensive, but I keep at it to help my Stampin Up business.  I have a disability and I take care of my paralyzed mother, so I work hard at this blog to help my business grow and to meet my quarterly sales requirements.  So, please help me and encourage me; God knows I need it!  And frankly, if you like any of my ideas so much that you recreate it, I would appreciate you buying the materials to make the project from me (I've got to put a plug in here somewhere - ha ha)!

So, thanks for "listening" and have a great weekend!

Gingerbread House made with Stampin' Up's Milk Carton Die

Here's another project we'll be making at one of my Holiday Gift Giving classes.  It's an adorable Gingerbread House treat holder made using the Stampin Up Milk Carton Big Shot die.  I know, another house, but I'm loving the shapes and sizes (box size: 3 1/4" x 1 3/4")

I used Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, and Whisper White cardstock.  I also used the Pennant Parade stamp set, the Sweets for the Sweet stamp set, and the Distressed Dots background stamp.  Lots of punches were used too, as well as the shiny Red Glimmer paper!

The shiny BLiNG comes from the NEW GLITTER GLUE called Dazzling Details, you'll be able to order it from the Holiday Mini Catalog starting September 1st!  It leaves a beautiful shine on your project!

Don't forget about my SEPTEMBER TUTORIAL SPECIAL here and thanks for visiting!

Altered ATC Purse

I've been wanting to make this purse for a friend for the past couple of years.  Donna loves purses and to thank her for faithfully driving me to Stampin Up's Conventions for the past few years, I wanted to make this for her.  As part of her job, she manages a nonprofit Bingo so I thought she would like something pretty to take with her.  The purse holds 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" ATC's in 8 pockets; I used letters in those pockets instead - 5 in front and 3 in back.  I made it so that Donna could change the theme whenever she wants!

I used Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper called Letters from Santa.  Then I added some Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, and Early Espresso cardstock.  I cut out the letters using the Big Shot Serif Essential Alphabet and the Red Glimmer paper - gotta have some BLING!  I cut the Blushing Bride/White flower using the Big Shot Fun Flowers die and the Little Leaves sizzlit die then ran the some of the petal through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  I used the Distressed Dots background stamp for the dots on the flower and behind the letters.

Finally, I used the Big Shot Tasteful Trim die for the scallop border edge and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch for the flowers on the back of the purse between the initals.  To finish out the "fun" factor, I tied different 3/8" Taffeta Ribbons around one handle.  I'm going to show it to Donna and let her decide if she wants more ribbon or flowers.

Don't forget about Stampin' Up!'s August Special; Buy 3 get 1 FREE and my great Frequent Buyer Rewards Program (click here for program details)!  You get a packet of Designer Series Paper for FREE when you buy 3 packets as well as frequent shopper rewards.  So, click here to see the sale flyer and click here to place an order ONLINE with me any time day or night!

Owl Bookmarks & Leadership 2012 Commercial

You've seen this owl bookmark before, but I wanted to share with you what I was working on. My cousin is here visiting from Italy and we made 40 of these cute bookmarks for her to take back with her. She's a school teacher and she thought these would be great student incentives! She saw the one I made for my New Catalog Open House in June and wanted to learn how to make it; I wish Stampin Up was in Italy! We used the Stampin Up 2-Tags Big Shot die with Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, and Basic Black cardstock.

I also wanted to share with you this funny Stampin Up Leadership commercial! It's a spin of the "Snickers" candy commercials. Hope you like it!

Thanks for visiting and don't forget that you can order Stampin' Up! products at a "preferred price" by visiting my Demonstrator Website here and clicking on "Shop Now"! Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Shower Cookie Favors

I made these cute and delicious baby shower favors for a shower this past weekend.  I bought the baby bottle cookies from a local bakeshop and put each one into a large cello baggie and tied ribbon and a tag around the top.  Luckily Stampin Up has a bunch of different colors of cardstocks and inks and coordinating ribbons, so matching the color of the cookies wasn't difficult!  Having Stampin Up punches also made the process go faster!

3/16" Corner Rounder Punch Video

This video was made by Stampin' Up! to help us learn how to use the new style 3/16" corner rounder punch. It's funny, because the other day I was at a fellow demonstrator's house using her punch and I was wondering what was the best way to use it. And, what did I find on our demonstrator only website - a video showing how to use it!

Let me know if you have any questions and have a great Monday!

Please return tomorrow and I'll have a cute card for you; take care!
